Sightseeing Tours   |       |
2008 City Sights - 2PM Departure

This tour takes you where others don’t – off the beaten path to areas where local residents live and play. Experience the local point of view, including:
  • Fremont Statues

  • Hiram Chittenden Locks

  • Historic Pioneer Square

  • City Center

  • Sports Complex, homes of the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks

  • International District

  • Montlake Cut

  • Lake Union

  • University of Washington

  • Fisherman’s Terminal

  • Glass Blowing Studio

Seattle is known for attractions such as Pike Place Market and the Space Needle, but outside the downtown core, Seattle is a city of neighborhoods, each with its own, unique personality. Using a smaller vehicle, we travel through parts of town many visitors never see.

Soak up the Asian flavor of the International District. Check out the quirky public art in Fremont, the self-proclaimed “Center of the Universe”, and get a taste of Seattle’s maritime culture as you drive past Fisherman’s Terminal. At the Hiram Chittenden Locks, you’ll see the famous Fish Ladder, where an underwater viewing room lets you watch for sea life. And enjoy a sprawling view of the skyline from atop one of Seattle’s scenic lookout points.

Gray Line of Seattle is the only tour company that will take you for a behind the scenes tour of one of our local Glass Blowing Studios, where you'll have the chance to see local artisans up close! The Glass Eye Studio produces some of the finest quality glass pieces available, and you'll be able to see them blown from the security of their viewing gallery. Be sure to take home a few pieces with you to show your friends. On weekends, The Glass House Studio in historic Pioneer Square, offers a glimps into the history of Seattle glass blowing with larger pieces blown by local artisans.

Tour departs from the Gray Line of Seattle desk in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel, 6th and Pike Street, downtown Seattle. Complimentary hotel pick-up is available from many hotels in the downtown Seattle area; please contact us for more information.

City Sights tours are non-refundable. Date and time changes are considered cancellations and are not available for City Sights tours within our scheduled cancellation policy..
